I must be doing something right

I have had a lot of days where I wonder if I'm setting a good example for my kids. Am I teaching them the important things in life? Well today I had one of those moments where I felt I was doing the right things. I fixed breakfast for Brianna and after helping her up to the table she said,"mom can I say a prayer?" I said,"sure you can" and she said "you gotta pause the movie first" (LOL) Thanks goodness for her reminder. ;)

How cute!!! Yesterday a TV in the way back of the house was left on and Justin barely heard it when we got quiet for our prayer at dinner, so he said, "One second" in the middle of his prayer and went and turned it off and came back and finished...LOL He paused his prayer! LOL

I think it's adorable when they become concious of things like that!

We have so much noise and chaos going on at all times, that we've all learned to tune it out so we can function. Often, we don't even notice stuff on during prayer. I always laugh when new people come to our house and ask us how we can tolerate the noise level.

They are so sweet. I lub you my little ones. I cant believe that they are getting so big. Man my kids will pray during a hurricane if it was possible here in the valley. They will pray with the TV on full blast the kids screaming who wants to say the prayer next. Prayer time here in our house is like a war of who gets to say it. Sometimes we just have to say. We are saying the prayer so you guys all just be quiet. As we yell. Nothing brings the spirit more than a few yells to bring in the spirit right. ;D
