Update and Pics

First I want to thank you all for the prayers and good wishes! I am doing much better now. A lot of family helped me out last week, not to mention people in the ward who made meals and just called to check on me. I feel very blessed to have so many people who were looking out for me and my family. My mom stayed with me for a few days since Adam had to go out of town. The kids loved having a sleepover with grandma, they are already asking when we can do it again.

I am on my own today and so far,so good. I don't burst into tears when somebody looks at me or asks how I'm doing. My stomach is sore today but I can handle physical pain a lot better than emotional pain. It's good to be feeling more like myself again.

OMGosh.
So sweet. Look at big siblings :)
C-sctions are not fun to recover from. MAin thing to remember is to take it easy.

I didn't after I had Fashionista and paid BIG time for it. So trust me.

All four of my dlieveries were c-sections. I have healed faster with each one because I had other kids to take care of. I did have a lot of help last week which made a big difference too.

I still have bad swelling in my right leg and foot. The doctor told me to rest and elevate my foot..which is easy when you have four kids you know.

I really can spell deliveries.

You've told your RS president or VTs about the foot elevation thing, right? Maybe you can get some free babysitting out of the deal. :)

Glad you're feeling better. I feel your pain. And the baby is gorgeous!

*drooling all over*

I LOVE the baby stage and your Camden is super adorable.

Glad that you're doing better. Sometimes getting back to a semblance of normalcy and routine is just what it takes to shake off the post-partum yucks.

Glad you are feeling better. I know it took several weeks before I felt like myself again. (Or maybe months. Or maybe I don't know what it's like to "feel myself" really anymore! Ah, motherhood.) :-)

Your babe is super sweet. Seriously, he's beautiful! Congratulations to you!!
