It's been decided.

I'm the most mean and ornery mom ever. Tonight has just been BAD all around, especially since daddy is out of town. I feel like I'm going to explode from frustration. I'm tired of kids not listening, kids freaking out about going to bed, kids freaking out every time they are told "no". I'm just tired.

Stace, I'm so sorry!!! I am sure it doesn't help to think of the song "You're gonna miss this." But that is what I try to think of when I feel like monster mommy!! At least it's an appropriate time of year to be monster mommy, maybe you can just blame it on Halloween!!

Look at the bright side, at least you aren't making bread with your chin right?!?

Maybe we can hang out tomorrow so you can get out of the house. Call me if you feel up to it!

Lub-lubs!

I am so sorry.

Just think about all the happy times you'll have later NOT being a monster.

I'm sorry Stace! You probably didn't get dinner at all last night trying to take care of four yourself :) I wish I lived closer and could pop over to help! I'm thinking of you today!!!!

Sometimes I feel like a monster grandma, too. And in my old journals I write of yelling at the kids several times :( It would be nice to get through life without trials (read cranky kids) but alas, kids come with personalities too. Grit your teeth and think that tomorrow will be a better day (hopefully, maybe, perhaps??? ;)

I'm so sorry. I hate days like that. That's when I give everyone peanut butter for dinner and tell them it's movie night. As long as they stay on the couch and be quiet, they don't have to go to bed til it's over. It used to work pretty well.

that's a great idea randi! I'm gonna have to try that one.
So sorry it was a rough day, hope today was brighter! Love the zoo pics. Yesterday on youtube I saw a video where a wild deer jumped into a polar bear exhibit... that was exciting!
