Well,she sang.,.

After a lot of consideration and back and forth phone calls,I decided to cancel the contract. I want to do everything I can to avoid a conventional loan which means we will not be able to get a home that is a short sale or foreclosure. If I had absolutely LOVED the house,it would have been a different story. We are still house hunting,we just have to avoid short sales. Anyway I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Thanks for the good thoughts and prayers everyone!

I'm sorry Stace. But you know- listening to the Spirit and your gut can only lead to good things!

We avoided short sales too. Too much hassle.

I'm so sorry it didn't work out! I know Heavenly Father has a great house in store for you!

Maybe it is a blessing in disguise. Who knows, maybe if you had bought the house the roof would have caved in on top of you and you could have been pinned under a large beam. You could have laid there for 23 hours after which you were found and taken to the hospital only to find that you were paralyzed from the neck down. Then you could decide not to let it get you down and continue to be optimistic and become an inspiration to millions because you learned how to sew with your teeth and make bread with your chin.

It could be worse, you could be making bread with your chin! :)

Good Luck!

I'm sorry dude. It will work out. Maybe you will get the house of your dreams for the price in your dreams! WOO HOO! for things to look foreward too! And holy crud! Emilee is so funny! I'd make bread for you if you didn't want to use your chin.

Awww, I'm sorry STacey! Something will work out, and I'm sure there is a homeowner who needs to move somewhere who is deeply grateful you are having to not do a short sale right now!

I just had flashbacks from house hunting complete with nausea regarding trying to get a short sale home.

It is such a headache. I feel for you.

I know you will find what you need, in your price range. We did and it was just divine intervention the way it happened.

I'm with ya on the conventional loan with the huge down.
