He cracks me up all of the time. Here are a few of the funny things that my little Brady has said recently...

~He asked me for help in the bathroom. Then he said,"C'mon mom,I know you live to wipe my butt."

~In response to me laying next to him in my bed: "I love you....thanks for the lay."

~His response to kindergarten registration. "I think I have to grow up tomorrow."

~"Those pigs don't want me to play angry birds because I'm so damn good at it!" (I can't imagine where he heard such language) ;)

~"The snack that smiles smack..goldfish!"

~Playing patty cake with Savvy,this is what he sings - "roll it and a roll it..mark it with defeat."

~"IT'S ONNNN!"

The latest hip-happenings!

For those of you out there who have been wondering when I would update...tonight is your lucky night!

~First of all,the big news....We have FINALLY found a place to rent! YAY! It happened very quickly. We looked at the place on Monday and the landlord called us the next day and said, "I called your references and they all love you. The place is yours if you want it." Uh..ok! It's a 3 bedroom,2 bath duplex. Split level with 2 family rooms, (big plus!!) and it's right by the elementary school and a park. While I am nervous about the financial aspect of it,I am thrilled to have my own place again! I'm sure my IL's will be happy to have their house all to themselves again. They were very generous to let us move in,even though they had to put up with all of the noise from the kids,yelling from me and Adam swearing at his computer during their prayers. (not on purpose or anything,it was a coincidence)

~Camden is potty trained! I still can't believe how easy it was to train him. It took less than a week. He is doing so awesome,I'm proud of the little guy!


~My sweet baby girl turned 1 year old on Tuesday! REALLY? That year went by crazy fast! Savvy Gracie is my little princess. She is standing by herself and waving while saying "buh". Pretty much one of the cutest sights ever. She loves to empty anything and everything. Clothes don't *really* need to be in the baskets...her diapers don't *need* to be in a box. She is just freeing them.

It's been a very quiet summer. I have been lazy mom and I haven't done much with the kids. I think a visit to the splash pads is in order and in between I'll be packing and de-junking. :)

School's Out!

No more pencils,no more books...no more Josh's dirty looks! (until August)

It's summer time once again. How did that happen?? I blinked and the school year was over.

Brianna is sad because she loved school and her teachers so much.

Josh is ecstatic,excited and overjoyed because school was pretty much torture for him...and I pretty much ruined his life by making him go every day.

Brianna received 3 awards - Art Achievement and a National Fitness Award,plus the Class Dreamer award.



Josh received an award from his teacher - a Mounds bar for being "Mounds" of fun to have in class. If only he had been mounds of fun to get off to school in the morning...instead he was more of a Goober.

My SIL planned a weekly field trip schedule for the summer and my kids are really excited about it. We usually go to at least half of the activities and it gives the kids something to look forward to. :)

Yay for summer!

Highlights of Tuesday..

~Camden chasing our cat with a hammer.

~Camden climbing on top of the playground and trying to jump off.

~Camden getting hit in the nose by Brianna's head and rubbing his bloody face all over my shirt. After which he said,"Oh mommy,look! I got lotsa blud on dat!"

~Camden drawing on himself with a sharpie 15 minutes after getting out of the bath.

Hmmmm....I notice a theme here.

It's Monday..

..Monday,tomorrow is Tuesday,and Wednesday is afterwards! Yeah that's right,Rebecca Black ain't the only chick who knows her days of the week. :P

Things that make me happy today -

~Sunshine and warmth! It's supposed to get up to the 70's this week! Yesssssss.

~I've lost 2 more pounds and my clothes feel looser. Woot! Woot!



~McCafe Frozen Strawberry lemonade..YUM!



~My cute boys!

He's 5 years old today!



this little guy who could always sleep anywhere..



...and who folded his arms during prayers..



..is going to be a kindergartener!

He's so easygoing and he entertains himself most of the time.



He likes to play Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Lego Star Wars on the Xbox.

He loves his brothers and sisters and he helps out with his younger siblings a lot.





He always has time for huggies and kisses, and he says,"I love you so much mommy" all of the time.



He has an awesome imagination. He loves to sit on my lap and tell me all of his stories.



I'm very blessed to have this sweet guy in my life. :)



Happy birthday little dude!!

Bubble Monster!

We had a large,nearly full bottle of bubbles. A few days later,I realized it was halfway gone. I didn't know who exactly was the culprit,but I knew their name ended in "a" or "n". One night,I went in to check on Joshua (the one who showers for 45 minutes) and instead I found a bubble monster in the tub..



There isn't ANY water in that tub...it's 100% bubbles.

That pic also solves the mystery of who emptied the new shampoo bottle and filled it with water. >:(
