Joshua's two bottom teeth have been loose for over a month now. He has driven me nuts asking over and over when they are going to come out. So today I was looking at them (yet again) and I noticed that his permanent teeth were coming in behind the baby ones. So I called the dentist and we went in this afternoon and got them pulled.
Joshua + laughing gas = funny!!
Here is some of his conversation with the dental assistant..
Josh - "You know what I'm gonna be when I grow up? I'm gonna be a chef. I'm going to own a Chinese restaurant. I'm not gonna be a server because I'm the cooker. One side of the restaurant will be Chinese stuff and the other side will have games. Not like Chuck E Cheese but different games. I'm not going to eat the food though because I don't like Chinese food. Now I'm gonna get permanent teeth right? And those won't fall out because my mom said that Heavenly Father created our bodies and made sure we would only lose our baby teeth. and guess what? I'm going to be 7 after Christmas which means I will be in a CTR 7 class.
Assistant - "What will happen when you turn 8?"
Josh - "I'll be a CTR 8."
Assistant - "What else will happen?"
Josh - "I'll get baptized! NO! That is just mean to hold kids under water!"
(I'm hoping after his cousin's baptism he will realize it's not like a drowning. Hubs and I have tried to explain it many times but to no avail.)
Now Josh is so excited because the tooth fairy will be coming tonight and then Santa is coming tomorrow! What more could a kid ask for?

CUTE and loved the conversations. LOL Drowning. Geeze that is tooo funny.
Josh is so cute! I'm so glad I get to see him and all the other kiddies tomorrow night. Tell him congrats from me. I hope he enjoys the tooth fairy--and I loved the running commentary conversation. How precious!
that is so funny! What a cute kid. I'll eat at his chinese/gaming restaurant. :)
I had surgery yesterday. The nurse said I had to go straight home and not eat out because I might faint. She also said NO greasy, fried, or spicy food.
So, what did I do? I forced Papi to drive me across the street from the Hospital straight into the den of diet iniquity known as Jade Dragon Chinese Buffet.
Rebellious Me!
Tell Josh that he can hold pro Chinese Checkers tournaments at his place.
And maybe Chinese jump rope.
And maybe cat roping/dog wrangling games. :)
My Joshua got his first pro hair cut in 2 years yesterday. I usually cut it. Anyway, he came home with little boy helmet head! The crazy Asian lady cut it semi-short that left the hair pointing out like a pin cushion and then made weird lines that ran straight across his forehead like Frankenstein.
My Papi took him and had to shell out 12 bucks for Josh's puffy porcupine look.
Seeing your cute Josh reminded me of how messed up my Josh looks at the moment. :)
LOL x 2!!!! I loved the part, "that is just mean to hold kids under water!" So funny! Kids are so cute. Thanks for a good laugh.
Your son on laughing gas = LOL.
Super cute.
I had a foster daughter that giggled in a hilarious fashion when she had laughing gas. I go to sleep.
Your son is adorable. My guess is he will want to be baptized when it's time. My youngest told us for 4 years that she was NOT getting baptized. A few months before she did she went to her friends baptism and changed her mind.
Kids are funny.
I love toothless smiles.
Merry Christmas!!!
Laughing Gas = Honesty. Too fun.
That is so HILARIOUS! :D
