Quick Update

~I'm 27 weeks along now and all is going well. I try to enjoy the amount of sleep that I can get right now. I know that soon,I'll be a lot more uncomfortable and I'll have to visit the bathroom numerous times a night.

~Josh and Bri have been doing so well in school! Brianna is excited to go full time next year, but I think Josh will really miss his teacher. She has been so great to him,he thinks that's she is awesome. I can't believe that there are only 5 weeks of school left! Where is the year going? On one hand,it will be nice to take it easy in the mornings and be able to run errands whenever I want to. On the other hand,I know that I will hear "I'm bored!" multiple times a day. I told the kids that every time they say that to me,they will be assigned a chore. ;)

~Adam is still working for his brother Jon and going to school. His classes are 4 nights a week right now,but having a second car makes it so much easier for both of us.

~Brady and Camdy are the best of buddies. They play well together and they are so cute to watch. The other day Brady said that Camdy was the cutest brother ever! :)

~Camdy has had a lot of sickies lately. A few weeks ago he had a stomach bug so he was sick all weekend. Then this past weekend he woke up early Sunday morning with a fever of 102.5. He was cranky and didn't sleep well the rest of the night. His fever broke and he started playing and was acting just fine until later that day. He got another fever and it was more of the same Sunday night. Yesterday I took him to the doctor and she ordered X-ray's for him because it sounded like he had fluid in his lung. The result was positive for pneumonia, his right lung was full of fluid. Camden had to have blood drawn from his arm and then he had to get a painful shot in his leg. It was a very long day for both of us. :( He is already doing a lot better though. He slept all last night and even slept for another hour and a half today. He does have some coughing fits that cause him pain and then he wants me to hold and cuddle him. It's sad that he is sick but I love being able to cuddle with him.

Easter Fun!

This year I *finally* remembered to buy an egg coloring kit for the kids. It's pretty basic but it made them happy and that's what counts. :)

Last Friday night there was an egg hunt and bar-b-q at my IL's house. It was a lot of fun but the best part about it is the kids' excitement.

All of the kids waiting to go a'hunting.

On Saturday afternoon we went to another egg hunt at my parents house. My sister brings each kid a goody bag with little toys and trinkets. Then she hides colored eggs filled with candy and gold and silver ones filled with money. Each kid gets 4 colored eggs and a gold or silver one. This year she hid a note in one of the eggs and the kid who found it won a grand prize. Well,Camden was the lucky winner! It was a Hip Hop bunny who does a little dance. The kids played with it over and over so I had to banish the bunny to their room...for mommy's sanity.

Here are the kids' buckets from the Easter bunny. They each got a magna doodle,a book and a chocolate bunny.

On Sunday morning Josh got to go to Conference with his Aunt Jan. He had so much fun and he was very well-behaved. It was such a great experience for him and I'm happy he got to go. I'm really proud of the effort that he has made lately to behave and be nice to his siblings.

It was a great Easter/Conference weekend! :)

Brianna's 6th Birthday

Yesterday was my baby girl's birthday. She got a Zhu Zhu pet (the last one because I'm awesome..or maybe just lucky!) and mermaid jewelry. We met Aunt Karla and cousin Danni for lunch and then Adam and I took the kids to IHOP for dinner. Afterward we came home and had cake. Here are some pics of my monkeys...

I decided to use the "4" and "2" candles to incorporate a math lesson.. ;)

"It's an emotional time for us all.."

This past week has been pretty busy and emotional. I had so many mood swings,I feel bad for my poor family. I was ornery, then depressed, then cranky again. It just never stopped. Hopefully things will get back to normal for awhile.

On Thursday the 25th my Grandma died. She was my last living grandparent. My parents took care of her for the last 6 months of her life. I know that it was hard on them but they rarely complained. My mom would just say that it was a privilege to take care of her. I've always had such great love and respect for my parents and that has only increased during these past few months. The last time I saw my grandma when she was alert was a few weeks ago. When the kids and I left I said, "give hugs and kisses" (like I always do) and Camden went right over to his great grandma and laid his head on her lap. That night was when she took a turn for the worse and her health declined. I'm very grateful that my kids got to know Grandma before she died. Her funeral was planned for the 29th in Wyoming.

On Saturday the 27th my sweet Joshie was baptized. He was worried about it for such a long time and then after he spoke to the bishop, his excitement was overwhelming. It was a wonderful day! I had tears in my eyes as he was baptized,I was just so happy for him and such a proud mom. His Aunt Jen gave him a few gifts including a beautiful baptism book which some of the family signed. Here are a few pictures...(I wish I could crop myself out but alas, that is how I really look) :P

On Sunday morning I left for Wyoming with my sister and my niece. A niece of mine said she would watch my kids while Adam went to work yesterday and I appreciated that so much.
That afternoon,my mom,my sisters and I went to the funeral home so we could be there while Grandma was dressed by my aunts. My mom helped dress her as well. It was a really neat experience for me.
That night there was a viewing with the family and afterward a few of us went to visit some other family members that live in Wyoming. We played Pictionary and we had a lot of fun.

The funeral was yesterday and it was a very peaceful service. My brother and one of my cousins were the speakers. Their talks really brought a wonderful spirit. One minute they would make us laugh and the next, they would make us cry. It was a great service and I'm so glad I was able to be there. Last night was the hardest night I've had since she died. I cried a lot but this morning I felt a lot better.

Unfortunately I left my camera at home (even though it was right next to my bag) and I didn't get any pictures to post. :( Thank goodness my sister brought her camera.

It will seem strange not to have any grandparents to go visit. However I'm so glad that they are reunited with their spouses and free from suffering.

R.I.P Grandma. I miss you.

Happy pics!

Here is a pic of my preggo-ness...

I'm 22 weeks along and feeling really good. I'm getting more energy and my house is slowly getting cleaner. (I'm also rockin' that Care Bear bandaid!)

Here is our "new" car...

It's a 1991 Chevy Corsica for Adam to drive to work and school. Yay for having a second car..hopefully it won't break down any time soon. ;)

Here is the new Eclipse poster...

While I like it,I wish they would have had a Victoria shot somewhere on it. Either way it makes me WAY excited for June!

Here is my oldest..

he is going to be baptized this Saturday. He did so well at his interview with the bishop last night that I couldn't stop smiling at his cute comments. I'm so proud of him!
