Yes,I FINALLY made a post! (only 3 weeks late)
I can't believe I have 3 kids in school now. All of them are doing well. Brady really likes school and is excited to go every day. Josh helps Brady get ready and walks with him to school. Both Josh and Brianna are helping Brady learn his letters. They created their own "school" where Josh and Bri are the teachers and Brady is the student.
I have a few more pics of Brady to post but Blogger is being lame and won't let me do it. :-/ At least I was able to upload a few before it crapped out.

See this little dude?
He cracks me up all of the time. Here are a few of the funny things that my little Brady has said recently...
~He asked me for help in the bathroom. Then he said,"C'mon mom,I know you live to wipe my butt."
~In response to me laying next to him in my bed: "I love you....thanks for the lay."
~His response to kindergarten registration. "I think I have to grow up tomorrow."
~"Those pigs don't want me to play angry birds because I'm so damn good at it!" (I can't imagine where he heard such language) ;)
~"The snack that smiles smack..goldfish!"
~Playing patty cake with Savvy, this is what he sings - "roll it and a roll it..mark it with defeat."
I love that kid!

For those of you out there who have been wondering when I would update...tonight is your lucky night!
~First of all,the big news....We have FINALLY found a place to rent! YAY! It happened very quickly. We looked at the place on Monday and the landlord called us the next day and said, "I called your references and they all love you. The place is yours if you want it." Uh..ok! It's a 3 bedroom,2 bath duplex. Split level with 2 family rooms, (big plus!!) and it's right by the elementary school and a park. While I am nervous about the financial aspect of it,I am thrilled to have my own place again! I'm sure my IL's will be happy to have their house all to themselves again. They were very generous to let us move in,even though they had to put up with all of the noise from the kids, yelling from me and Adam swearing at his computer during their prayers. (not on purpose or anything,it was a coincidence)
~Camden is potty trained! I still can't believe how easy it was to train him. It took less than a week. He is doing so awesome,I'm proud of the little guy!
~My sweet baby girl turned 1 year old on Tuesday! REALLY? That year went by crazy fast! Savvy Gracie is my little princess. She is standing by herself and waving while saying "buh". Pretty much one of the cutest sights ever. She loves to empty anything and everything. Clothes don't *really* need to be in the baskets...her diapers don't *need* to be in a box. She is just freeing them.
It's been a very quiet summer. I have been lazy mom and I haven't done much with the kids. I think a visit to the splash pads is in order and in between I'll be packing and de-junking. :)

No more pencils,no more books...no more Josh's dirty looks! (until August)
It's summer time once again. How did that happen?? I blinked and the school year was over.
Brianna is sad because she loved school and her teachers so much.
Josh is ecstatic, excited and overjoyed because school was pretty much torture for him...and I pretty much ruined his life by making him go every day.
Brianna received 3 awards - Art Achievement and a National Fitness Award, plus the Class Dreamer award.
Josh received an award from his teacher - a Mounds bar for being "Mounds" of fun to have in class. If only he had been mounds of fun to get off to school in the morning...instead he was more of a Goober.
Josh didn't want me to take a pic of him..shocking,right?
My SIL planned a weekly field trip schedule for the summer and my kids are really excited about it. We usually go to at least half of the activities and it gives the kids something to look forward to. :)
Yay for summer!

~Camden chasing our cat with a hammer.
~Camden climbing on top of the playground and trying to jump off.
~Camden getting hit in the nose by Brianna's head and rubbing his bloody face all over my shirt. After which he said,"Oh mommy, look! I got lotsa blud on dat!"
~Camden drawing on himself with a sharpie 15 minutes after getting out of the bath.
Hmmmm....I notice a theme here.

Things that make me happy today -
~Sunshine and warmth! It's supposed to get up to the 70's this week! Yesssssss.
~I've lost 2 more pounds and my clothes feel looser. Woot! Woot!
~McCafe Frozen Strawberry lemonade..YUM!
~My cute boys!
Camden's shirt reads, "Mischief is my business and business is good!" Truer words have never been spoken,my friends.
~My silly Savvy who is scarfing down her brother's french fries.
~Did I mention sunshine, capris and flip flops?! Woot!
I hope you all have an awesome week!

See this cutie?
He's 5 years old today!
this little guy who could always sleep anywhere..
...and who folded his arms during prayers..
..is going to be a kindergartener!
He's so easygoing and he entertains himself most of the time.
He likes to play Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Lego Star Wars on the Xbox.
He loves his brothers and sisters and he helps out with his younger siblings a lot.
He always has time for huggies and kisses, and he says,"I love you so much mommy" all of the time.
He has an awesome imagination. He loves to sit on my lap and tell me all of his stories.
I'm very blessed to have this sweet guy in my life. :)
Happy birthday little dude!!

We had a large, nearly full bottle of bubbles. A few days later,I realized it was halfway gone. I didn't know who exactly was the culprit, but I knew their name ended in "a" or "n". One night,I went in to check on Joshua (the one who showers for 45 minutes) and instead I found a bubble monster in the tub..
There isn't ANY water in that tub...it's 100% bubbles.
That pic also solves the mystery of who emptied the new shampoo bottle and filled it with water. >:(

Adam has class 4 nights a week again...no more Zumba except on Saturday mornings. :(
The kids' bunk beds are falling apart..again.
Adam applied for 2 more job openings...still no news on the other 3 jobs.
Adam's brother/boss hasn't been paid for a big job...therefore,Adam hasn't been paid yet either. :(
On the bright side,I get to see my family this weekend for an Easter egg hunt at my parent's house.

..this was happening in my kitchen -
The only thing Adam said was,"Camden James Southern..." and he started crying. (EDITED TO ADD: Camden started crying..not Adam. Although I'm sure it was "an emotional time for us all")
Really?? How can you get mad at this face??

Here are my goals for right now..
~Work out 4-5 times a week.
~Count calories and stay around 1500-1600.
~Cut back on soda.
In the past week,I have worked out 5 times. I have stayed under my calories all week...and I have only had an occasional soda. I'm attending Zumba classes and when I can't get out,I play Dance Central for an hour and a half. Dancing is the best way for me to exercise because I really enjoy it. Now I just have to stick with it!

Today is my 4 year blogiversary! *confetti*
So many things have changed since I started this blog.
I've had 2 more kids.
Josh and Brianna started school.
Adam went back to school and is working on getting his bachelor's degree (and he only has 14 months left!)
Adam has changed jobs.
We moved out of my IL's...then back in again.
I've lost weight..then gained it back...then lost it...and gained it back again. *sigh*
There have been many difficult times but there have also been some prime blessings in my life and I'm grateful for that.
Here is a funny comment from Josh...
"You know mom, when you make me do homework and all of this stuff..I cry a little."
He cracks me up!

I'm a night shopper. I prefer to go to the store when Adam is home so he can take care of the kids. It's so nice to be able to take my time and not worry about meltdowns because of the word "no".
Yesterday I made the mistake of going to the store at 5:30. There was a general ornery vibe because of the hungries and grumpies....and the kids were worse.
Josh was mad because "Money is stupid and he just wants a Nintendo DS!!"
Brianna was running with the cart and then jumping on it.
Brayden was picking up boxes of treats and saying, "pleasepleasepleaseplease!"
Camden was opening a box of candy because "it's too long to wait!"
Savannah...was just chillin'.
After a few detours, we made it to the checkout. Brianna was helpful and cooperative while Josh and Brady played with a closed cash register. I called them back over to help out(this might have sounded like yelling and there *may* have been threats involved) and they started putting the bags in the cart. After I paid for my items I noticed that Camden was no longer in the cart. I started searching frantically, while images of Camden being kidnapped went through my head. Just as I was about to tell the cashier what had happened,I looked over and saw Camden sitting at a table at the Subway. Apparently he was hungry and it looked like the perfect place to eat dinner.
I vowed to never again take the kids shopping with me...until the next time my brain short circuits and I think,"it's just a quick trip,I'm sure it will be fine."

Go here for funnies.

It's been awhile since I posted. I'm sure I've lost my modest fan base of 5 by now. ;)
~It's the first day of March! I am SO ready for spring!!! Today was a beautiful sunny day and it was awesome. I love this time of year and I'll be glad to say goodbye to the snow and gloomy days!
~Adam is still searching for a different job. There are a few openings that he is going to apply for this week.
~I'm still searching for apartments. No luck yet..I don't think we will find a place until Adam has a higher income.
~Adam is still in school. Only 14 months left! Double woot!
~I still spend a lot of time on the computer but now I look for job and apt. listings instead of blogging. (obviously)
~Savvy is growing so fast! Milestone wise she is doing awesome! She is moving all over the place. She is very close to crawling and she is sleeping much better. Size-wise,she is still a little moppet. She is 7 months old and weighs between 12 and 13 lbs. She is still wearing the clothes she wore when she was a newborn. She is healthy though and that's what counts!
~Camden is a 2 year old to the max lately. He is exercising his creativity by coloring on everything but paper. (that's so passe') He also comes up with ingenious ways to get the things he wants. (he got stuck in our washer once trying to get "cleamers") He is such a sweet guy that it's hard to stay mad at him. (Especially when he says, "I love you mommy")
~Brayden is starting school in the fall! EEK! When did that happen? I will have 3 in school now. He is excited to get a backpack but I think he could do without the rest. Him and Camden are such good buddies, they really take care of each other.
~Brianna is still loving school. She cried last week when she had to miss a few days. She ended up getting a reading award when she went back yesterday and that cheered her up a lot. She and I and Savvy had a girl's day and saw Tangled. Brianna loved it! I'll give you 3 guesses as to what she wants for her birthday party theme. ;) She is way excited for her 7th birthday this month and Tangled comes out around the same time. Talk about awesome!
~Josh is the opposite..he still has a bad attitude about school. This has been a good week so far but they are rare. He is in a play next week and he is nervous about it. He is playing the sheep in Charlotte's Web and he has watched the movie twice since we got it last night. For his 9th birthday he had a small Phineas and Ferb themed party with a few friends and cousins. He likes the fact that we haven't moved yet because he doesn't want to leave his best friend,Austin.
Well,I think that's all for now. Consider yourself updated!
