So my hubby got The Host for my Mother's Day present. I'm trying to save it for when I'm in the hospital next week. I know if I start reading it,it will be finished by tomorrow. I may have to have my hubby hide it from me. I'm too weak.

~Actress vows to leave U.S. if McCain wins election~
Susan Sarandon has vowed to leave the U.S. with her longterm partner Tim Robbins if Republican John McCain wins November's presidential election.
The actress is rooting for Democrat contender Barack Obama, and is packing her bags in case he or party rival Hillary Clinton don't replace George W. Bush in the White House.
She says, "It's a critical time, but I have faith in the American people."
Sarandon also defends her support of Obama as opposed to Clinton, telling the New York Post, "I thought the whole point of feminism is that you're not supposed to be defined by gender. I don't understand the reasoning behind that, because I wouldn't vote for (U.S. Secretary of State) Condoleezza Rice, and I hated (former British prime minister) Margaret Thatcher."
I really hope she keeps her promise. Barbra Steisand threatened to leave if Bush was elected and she never did. I wish more celebrities would promise this AND follow through with it.
All I have to say is "don't let the doorknob hit you in the butt on your way out!!"

Joshua's graduation program was this morning. It was very cute to watch him sing songs and giggle at his friends. He walked in and took his place, then he put his hands above his eyes to look for us. We kept waving but he didn't see us. Finally Adam went up and showed him where we were and he got a big grin on his face and waved. After they sang their songs, the teacher put up pictures of all the kindergarteners and pictures from their activities throughout the school year. I almost started bawling because they were playing the songs,"Let Them Be Little" and "My Wish". If I'm this sentimental with kindergarten,I don't even want to think about high school graduation! :)
As soon as I wanted to take pictures,Brady didn't want to..he just wanted daddy.

I bought the movie, National Treasure 2 on Tuesday. I have yet to watch it. Why you ask? Well I will tell you. For some reason,I feel like I can't do anything fun until my house is cleaned. It bugs me. Sometimes I just wanna scrapbook or watch a movie but the voice in my head says,"how can you have fun? Have you seen your kitchen floor? Not to mention the dirty dishes and toys everywhere!" Why do I feel this way? I really don't want to have such feelings. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go to the store. My work is never done. *sigh*

Today I am thankful that my baby is due very soon. I have become an ornery, fat demon woman. Young children scream and run away from me. It just ain't pretty.

Since Saturday I've been cleaning off and on,trying to get things done. I got my laundry room cleaned up on Saturday and there is not one item of clothing in there. I can see the top of the dryer again! And...wait for it...our baskets are EMPTY! I know! I still can't believe it. The kids don't know what to think about getting their clothes out of their dressers. They better enjoy it because I don't think it will last long. Just now I cleaned the bathroom while Brady was in the tub, then I cleaned the TV screen. Unfortunately now I have no energy for dinner. Anyone want to come make me some enchiladas?

Josh has figured out a way to vent his frustrations without ending up in time-out. Yesterday he was playing outside with his cousin Jenny. He had already been in time-out once for hitting Jenny. A few minutes later I heard them fighting again. Josh came storming in the house and slammed the door. He sat at the kitchen table and started drawing. Suddenly I hear this wicked giggling coming from Josh. He walked over to me,said "mom, check it out!",and showed me this drawing.
It's a picture of himself kicking Jenny. Josh is on the left with the big smile on his face and Jenny is on the right, falling down with a frown on her face. He laughed over this picture for five minutes. Then he seemed to feel better so he went back outside. Technically I couldn't put him in time out for a mean drawing. I have to give him props for creativity.

So hubby and I saw Iron Man on Saturday night. It was a really good movie! All of the main actors in the movie were great. Robert Downey Jr. was perfect in the role of Tony Stark. It didn't seem to have as much action as Transformers but it had a lot less swearing which is always a good thing for me. I recommend this movie to everyone, even those who aren't fans of comic book movies. :D

So today I was reading EW magazine when I got to my favorite part. It's called "Sound Bites" and it's funny or stupid quotes from tv over the past week. This one from the show "Farmer Wants A Wife" left me in awe..
"I'm afraid of them, like, pecking my eyes out,you know, because I want to see, like and I like seeing things, and, like,I definitely need my eyes."
-Contestant Stephanie upon viewing a chicken up close for the first time.
I have no words.

See this picture?? This is how pregnant I feel right now.
It was a difficult weekend. I twisted my ankle on Friday and yeah it hurt a bit. I'm a klutzy person anyway, let alone when I'm pregnant. Luckily my car door was open so I caught myself before I fell too far. So I limped through my errands and came home to rest. Then on Saturday I had a lot of back and leg pains. The baby was on a lot of my nerves apparently. Then yesterday I had some mild pains and then I got heartburn. Yesterday afternoon was pretty good until I got to bed. I finally got comfortable and Brady woke up. Then as I drifted off,I heard Bri coughing and crying. She and Josh came into our room because they were both awake. Adam had to get up early so I took Brianna to her bed and stayed with her. She kept coughing and crying about her aches so I gave her some ibuprofen. After an hour she finally settled down and fell asleep.
I am feeling so tired today and I want to go back to bed. Unfortunately I can't because I have to go to my doctor's appointment. All I have to say is.......
FOUR MORE WEEKS! Hallelujah!
