At last!

Tonight I have an interview with the Stake President to get my temple recommend renewed. It expired over 2 years ago and I had some things I had to do before I could get it renewed. It will so be so nice to have a recommend again and be able to attend the temple. I'm also excited because I'll be able to attend my nephew's wedding next week. He's marrying the sweetest girl and she is Josh's new best friend. If you are reading this,hi Ailinh! I'll see you on Saturday! :)

Woo to the hoo!

Hello again!

I have some time before another kid related "crisis" comes up so I decided to post. All is going well with me. I am settling into a routine and quickly remembering how much your time is limited with a newborn. I have no more baby blues and my swelling is gone. I weigh 20 pounds less than I did when I was pregnant and I'm working on losing more.

Camden is doing great,he weighs 10 pounds now. He is a great eater and sleeper. He cat naps during the day mostly but he sleeps long stretches at night. Last week he slept 6-7 hours almost every night! It was sooo nice! :)

The kids are doing great with him even though they "love" him a little too much sometimes. Brady has a few jealous moments with me but he has a lot with his daddy. If I try to hand Camden to Adam or if Adam holds the other kids,Brady freaks out. That is HIS daddy and no one can tell him different. ;)

Brady kept getting front of the camera saying,"cheese!"

Update and Pics

First I want to thank you all for the prayers and good wishes! I am doing much better now. A lot of family helped me out last week,not to mention people in the ward who made meals and just called to check on me. I feel very blessed to have so many people who were looking out for me and my family. My mom stayed with me for a few days since Adam had to go out of town. The kids loved having a sleepover with grandma,they are already asking when we can do it again.

I am on my own today and so far,so good. I don't burst into tears when somebody looks at me or asks how I'm doing. My stomach is sore today but I can handle physical pain a lot better than emotional pain. It's good to be feeling more like myself again.

I just wanted to make a quick baby post.

So as you all know I went in Wednesday and had my c-section. Everything went really well and before I knew it the surgery was done. Adam went with Camden to the nursery and then I met him and my mom back at the room. A while later I was moved to mother/baby and I was doing pretty good. On Thursday I had some problems and I was put on oxygen and given three bags of blood. When I had my tubal the doctor said that an ovary was hooked to one of my tubes and he had to cut it and re-stitch it,which is where I lost the blood. I had some congestion and my voice was almost completely gone. Not to mention I couldn't clear my throat because coughing hurt so bad. Then on Friday I was doing much better and I came home last night. The whole time in the hospital Camden did great. He had some low blood sugar the first day and a little jaundice but otherwise he is perfect. He latches on well and eats a lot,lol. He is so darn precious and definitely worth all I went through! Unfortunately I have been coughing and short of breath all day which is frustrating. Not to mention I've been sobbing a lot since last night,baby blues set in early for me. Some prayers would be appreciated,I'm having a pretty hard time right now. Thank you for all of your well wishes.

Just kidding (apparently)

Ok so there is no C-section tomorrow. Someone at the hospital messed up and I was not on the schedule. Except my doctor said they confirmed it last week and this afternoon! The doc was very mad and he is going to find out what happened tomorrow. So it looks like I will have a June 4th instead of a June 3rd baby. Now we just have to re-arrange the babysitting schedule. (Kim,that is where you come in..right?) ;) Good thing my hubby took Wednesday off. My poor kids were very disappointed. Bri cried...and then I cried. :(

My FIL did give me a blessing and that helped a lot though. So put your good thoughts and prayers on hold for one more day. ;)

(Yes,I changed my floating baby so it was accurate. Seeing a 0 there tomorrow would have bummed me out)

Tomorrow...

..is my C-section! Hallelujah!

Unfortunately my body figured I needed more stress and pain so I have an ear infection. Goody. Because it's not like I have things to do today. I don't have to finish packing my bag,I don't have to to go the store or anything. *sigh* Oh,well.

One more day!!
