Josh has figured out a way to vent his frustrations without ending up in time-out. Yesterday he was playing outside with his cousin Jenny. He had already been in time-out once for hitting Jenny. A few minutes later I heard them fighting again. Josh came storming in the house and slammed the door. He sat at the kitchen table and started drawing. Suddenly I hear this wicked giggling coming from Josh. He walked over to me,said "mom, check it out!",and showed me this drawing.
It's a picture of himself kicking Jenny. Josh is on the left with the big smile on his face and Jenny is on the right, falling down with a frown on her face. He laughed over this picture for five minutes. Then he seemed to feel better so he went back outside. Technically I couldn't put him in time out for a mean drawing. I have to give him props for creativity.

Oh my goodness I love it!!! I bet you couldn't stop from laughing... Keep it and journal it... I'm srue he will love to see that when he's all grown up!
Oh, that made me laugh! Way to go Josh for figuring out an appropriate (and creative!) vent to his frustrations. :-)
Thats Josh. He is so funny. LOL
LOL, that's hilarious. Especially with the wicked laugh.
Yeah, definitely keep it. Hank's mom kept a lot of his drawings and wrote what Hank said they were. They are the cutest things in the world.
Kids are so cute and innocent :)
I'm metally drawing a picture right now of me kicking the cheese out of a bunch of IRS agents and a few of my more unruly paper customers.
Ahhhhhh, much better.
Your son is a genius!
I love it! Good for him for figuring out a way to vent. I mean without screaming at everyone and throwing things at the wall. Not that I do that or anything...
oh man, I'm gonna have to try that
for real
I think I'm going to follow Josh's example and draw pictures when I am mad at DH. ;)
