My Birthday!

Today is my 32nd birthday. I know you are probably expecting this pensive and retrospective post with many details about my life....but I'm feeling lazy, so this will be a picture post.

Aren't I the cutest? I was a bald and tiny baby. I weighted 5 lbs when I was born. In the top picture,I am wearing my blessing dress and I'm one year old. In the bottom picture I was two years old.

Whenever my mom had my pictures taken, she would gather every little hair I had so she could make a curl. This was a nice one don't you think? I was six years old here..just kidding. I was actually three years old. I had so much fun being a baldy baby,I decided to pass it on to my two youngest boys. Camden is almost fifteen months old and he finally has the hair of a five month old. Yessss.

This is me a few months before my 9th birthday. I was a member of a local dance team called The Golden Girls. And I am SO rocking the jelly shoes!

Age 13 - I really wish my complexion still looked like that without me having to use a ton of concealer and minerals make-up. I was wearing my favorite pair of earrings too.

Age 15 - I was officially a high school-er. Check out the chipmunk cheeks. I was rocking the bangs though!

Age 16 - wearing my favorite color, wishing my bra strap wasn't showing and wondering what was going on with my hair.

Age 21 - "Oh,skinny picture. I sometimes want to weep when I look at you."
(I was working for Merry Maids and I lost 35 lbs. It was the bomb.com!!)

Age 22 - This is how I look every day. Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.

Here I am,10 years later. Older but wiser. ;)

Someone else is having a birthday!

Today (Jan. 8th) my oldest turns 7 years old! It seems like just yesterday we were on our way to the hospital so that I could be induced. I was in labor all day but I had drugs so I slept most of the time. Then around 3:30 in the afternoon,my doctor became concerned about the baby's heartbeat and strongly suggested I have a C-section. Considering how long I had waited for this little baby (I had 4 miscarriages before Josh was born) I had a strong feeling that he needed to get out. I was wheeled into the O/R and at 4:00pm I heard the sweet sound of my baby crying. Then I was crying and I felt so relieved that he was alright. Later on I found out that the placenta was tearing away from my uterus and he could have drowned in blood, not to mention I could have died as well. I'm grateful every day for this sweet boy.

Happy birthday Joshie,I love you!
