Some of the random stuff that amuses me.

~Adam and I went and saw The Hunger Games last weekend. (for those of you keeping track,it was viewing #6 for me) There is a part in the movie where one of the muttations (a.k.a. huge and vicious dogs) jumps out of the bushes. The first time I saw the movie,I was startled. but after repeated viewings,I know EXACTLY when it's going to happen so I can be chill. Apparently most of the people in our row were not prepared. the woman next to Adam almost kicked her box of treats all over his lap. and the woman next to me kicked the railing so hard that I felt the vibration. I thought I would be thrown out of my seat when they jumped..and then I started laughing with them at them.

~Every time my phone rings,Camden's says "Yes! I love the creepy whistle!"

~The Big Bang Theory..enough said.

~Supernatural's gag reels. Hi-lar-ious!

~Mah girl-frennnns,IRL and online. I <3 you all.

~Tumblr with it's goofy and random internet memes and gifs. I am so easily amused by such things as "Where's Finnick? Odair he is!" and "Peeta! Peeta! Who turned you into berries?!!" so dumb but I still get a kick out of them. and unfortunately I think of them during the movie and it makes me laugh at inappropriate times.

Things I like..and things I don't

Things I like -

~I've lost another pound...now 26 lbs are gone! Hasta lasagne!

~Adam and I have really decent credit scores now...which will make buying a house a lot easier. (when the time comes..hopefully in the next year)

~Date night this weekend,followed by GNO next weekend! I love having things to look forward to! (and yes,my girlfriend and I will more than likely see THG..so what?)

~Adam is finished with his classes! He officially graduates in June! WOOOOOOOOT!

~The mockingjay call is my new ringtone..and I love it!! but Josh hates it...he says it creeps him out. So,naturally Brianna turns up the sound on the computer and plays it over and over. I can't imagine where she gets that teasing streak from...I really can't.

Things I don't like -

~Savvy's identity might have been compromised during a security breach at the county health dept. Grrrrr...stupid hackers! I want to smack them,tie them to a chair and make them watch Fred: the show over and over again. Then they will know true torture.

~I woke up to the sounds of Savvy puking..while lying in my bed..after drinking a sippy cup of milk. *GAG*

~Freaking huge mutated black spiders just hanging out in my bathtub. NOT COOL. "Spider go down the hole! Buh bye spider."

~I've only worked out a few times in the last 2 weeks. Fail. (good news..Adam will be home so I can go to ZUMBA tonight)

Things I Lurve!

~The way Josh used to say "callepidders" instead of caterpillars. Total cuteness!

~The fact that Brianna sings all the time. She loves music and dances all over,even in the grocery store if the mood strikes her.

~How excited Camden gets when he sees "big trucks!!!" or "COOOWWSS!" Even if he is outside,he will run up to tell me every time he sees a truck.

~Brady's love for his baby brother. He always says, "Aww,mom..Camden is just the cutest brother ever!"

~Brady and Camden will say "bless you'd" instead of sneezed. Camden told me this morning that Brady bless you'd after he took a bite of cereal.

~Savvy saying "HUGS!" and "I love you".

~Spring weather!

~Cookie dough,mint chocolate chip and peanut butter/chocolate ice cream flavors.

~Uber-tight hugs!

Highlights of Tuesday..

~Camden chasing our cat with a hammer.

~Camden climbing on top of the playground and trying to jump off.

~Camden getting hit in the nose by Brianna's head and rubbing his bloody face all over my shirt. After which he said,"Oh mommy,look! I got lotsa blud on dat!"

~Camden drawing on himself with a sharpie 15 minutes after getting out of the bath.

Hmmmm....I notice a theme here.

Pregnancy and Other Stuff

~As of today I am 30 weeks pregnant! It's crazy how fast the time has flown by,even though it didn't feel like it for the first few months. I am still in need of a few baby things like a swing and a bouncer,but mostly I'm ready for the little one. I just need to get the extra twin bed out of storage since Camden will be using the toddler bed so the baby can have his bed. Slowly but surely my nesting is kicking in and my house is getting more organized.

~A sweet woman in our ward offered to give us her old couch since ours are buried in the storage unit. Well she brought it by Saturday morning and it was not just a "couch",it was a sectional with recliners and a hide a bed! With the computer desk in the room it's pretty squishy but it's SO nice to have somewhere to sit down! (Have you ever seen a woman who is 8 months pregnant try to get up off the floor? It ain't pretty,people)

~I took all of the kids to church yesterday sans hubby. They were well-behaved and they went to their classes easily,even thought it has been awhile since we went to church. I did end up staying in the nursery with Camden. About snack time he calmed down and he had fun the rest of the time. If he can just get through the first half hour,then he is usually alright. One day I will be able to attend Relief Society..that is my goal. ;)

~Summer vacation is almost here. The next 2 weeks will be busy with end of school activities. I'm looking forward to summer..taking the kids to the park and the library,the b-b-q's, and of course the birth of my baby girl.

~Brianna is very excited to be graduating from kindergarten. She wants to go full time so she can eat lunch at school and have a lunch box. It's the simple things in life,right?

~Josh is sad about school ending but he is excited because a friend of his is having a last day of school party with a "ginormous water slide". He is counting the days!

~I wish we could go on vacation this summer but with a lack of funds,it's just not going to happen. For the last few years,my SIL has organized weekly activities in the summer and half of them are free (my favorite price) so I hope she will do that again. My kids love it.

It Sure is Monday

Mmmmm,Country Crock margarine...


I had a nice weekend. On Saturday night,Adam and I went out to Training Table for dinner. It was nice to get a small break and be able to spend time together,just the two of us.

My IL's had a party for my SIL,Janelle last night. We had pasta for dinner and delicious cake and ice cream for dessert. The kids played games and then we had a pinata,which is a tradition for the 30th birthday parties. It was a great night!

My MIL gave me a card which is to be applied towards my next birthday. It's pretty much one of the most awesome cards ever. It plays "Full Moon" and my kids want it...but they can't have it,it's mine! ;)

Oh,Edward..why must you be so dreamy?

It's the start of a new week again and this morning was a great one! No fighting or whining and the kids were ready for school 30 minutes early. I had the kitchen cleaned up and I was showered and dressed by 8:00. Brayden stayed dry all night! He woke up and he told me he needed to potty instead of going in his diaper! YAY!

Manic Monday

My silly guy put a Halloween bucket on his head. Naturally,I took pictures.


Josh had a dentist appointment today. The dentist pulled out two of his front teeth because his permanent teeth were coming in behind the baby teeth. Here he is with his toothless grin.


My parents were kind enough to babysit my other kids while I was with Josh at the dentist. My dad got out his "toy" (A.K.A. Four-Wheeler) and gave each of the kids a ride. They loved it! Sadly,Brady's pic didn't turn out. :(

While I was gone picking up Brianna's costume,Brady built a bunch of "creations" with blocks and he saved them so I could see them when I got back.


While I was over at my parent's house,my mom gave me a gift. My mom said that she knew I had been down and she hoped the gift would cheer me up. There was MAJOR cheering up! She gave me this watch..


My first thought was "that is really pretty! I love silver,black and red!" Then my mom showed me a few extras on it...

What is that I see? An apple? Hmm,continue..

"I Dream About Being With You Forever"?! Edward and Bella! A wolf! A lion and a lamb! Plus a crystal heart?! Yes,my friends..my mom gave me some Twilight bling so I am ready for New Moon next month! HOLLA!

First Day of School!

The morning went very smoothly. Josh made the comment to Brianna that "he was happy that she was in school now,so he had someone to get ready with." Josh is a great big brother,he talked to Brianna about school the whole walk there. When we got inside they were both smiling but as soon as we walked to the gym where all of the kids were,Brianna started sucking her thumb. (which she does when she is nervous or scared)
She said she was shy with all of these people around. I told her that it will only be students and teachers after today and she relaxed a little bit. Josh and Bri said hi to their aunt Tiffy who works as a teacher's aide and then I took some pictures. I walked them over to their teachers,gave them big hugs and then watched them leave to go to their classrooms. I hope they both have a fun day!

Temple Open House and Birthday wishes

Today is my nephew's b-day. He is a funny little dude. Happy birthday Trubie!!


A few weeks ago my SIL,Jenn invited my hubby,the kids and I to the open house of the Oquirrh Mountain temple. Adam ended up having to work that night,so Jenn and my other SIL Jan rode up with us in our van. We went to dinner first and then we drove over to the temple. The kids loved seeing the temple and they were so well behaved! Once we got closer to the end of the tour,they got a little more restless because they were thinking about the cookie they were going to get. :) After we got cookies and water,we took the kids to the front of the temple to see the fountain. Brady almost fell in a few times,but he caught himself. It was so neat to see the temple with it's elegant designs and beautiful fixtures. We all had a great time. Brady said something to me tonight that made me giggle. He was hugging me and he said,"I love you mommy..you are the best dang mom ever."

I started thinking of other funny things my kids have said and done and I decided to post a few.
Brady -
"Oh, you gotta be kiddin' me!"
"I'm on de lebel 2 in my game!"
"Oh man,I NEBER win! stoopid game!" (I blame daddy for that one)

Brianna -
When she was two years old, she used to say, "What de heck?"
"Mommy,how come you have purple shoes? You're a MOM!
"My owies love to hurt...and then they don't hurt cuz they get diarreah" (NO idea where that came from!)
I took her to the bathroom one time and she said,"It's quiet in here....too quiet".

Joshua -
When he asked for something,we would tell him,"say the magic word" meaning "please". So from then on whenever we said,"What do you say?" he would say,"Magick word!"
He called pinatas "spank candy".
He woke me up one time to say,"Mom, would you please stop snoring? I'm trying to get some sleep!"
"Mommy,you're teasing me and making me dramatic!"

Fun day at the Dino Museum!

I took the kids to the Dinosaur museum yesterday and they had a blast. They have been there twice but both times it was with one of their aunts. I took some really cute pictures of the kids and after we left,Josh said "it was such a great day mom!"











Here are the fossils the kids made. Josh's is a T. Rex tooth,Bri's is a raptor claw,and Brady's is a bug.



After lunch I took the kids to Coldstone where we met up with Klin and 2 of her kids. It was great to finally meet her and she is so nice! Unfortunately after about 10 minutes my kids were restless and all over the place. Opening utility panels,picking roses,going towards the busy street....you know,fun stuff like that. Josh was also being a bit of a show off, (imagine that!) so next time I think we should meet up without the little monkeys so we can talk more. :)
