Random Friday

~I met my SIL at the park today for our first "official" summer picnic. Adam's cousin's wife (our cousin-in-law?) came and visited for a while and the kids had a lot of fun. Brayden is still sleeping,he is worn out. Yes!

~I have an infection in my right ear. I don't like it.

~4 songs on my iPod are skipping and one of them is a fave of mine from HSM3. It's "Can I have This Dance?" I like it..a lot. I don't like it stopping when I am in the middle of singing. iTunes hates me lately..for real.

~Camden is cutting 3 teeth,taking steps and giving "fives". He will be 1 next week and it makes me a little sad since he is my last baby...unless a miracle happens.

~I've been on a Zac Efron high all week and it doesn't look like I'm coming down anytime soon.

~Brianna was singing "Without Love" from the movie Hairspray last night. I wish I had taped it,she was singing her little heart out. It was way cute!

~School's out and already Josh is bored. This does not bode well.

Girl's Night!

As most of you know,I've been down for the last few days. Yesterday Karla (my SIL and BFF) called and invited me to dinner and a movie with our other SIL Tiffany. We went to Arby's and then we saw "17 Again". We had so much fun and the movie was hilarious!! Not to mention it had Zac Efron in it. He may be only 21 but he's still a cutie. :P We had so much fun,it really cheered me up. :) Yay for GNO's!

*SIGH*

I hate being depressed. I'm having a really down day and I can't snap out of it. I'm trying not to be ornery with my kids and so far,so good. They have been really good today and for that I'm grateful.

We are having money problems right now (as are many people in this economy) and it's taking it's toll on our household. I've been looking for a night job and so far no luck. I REALLY don't want to work during the day because I don't want to leave my kids. It makes me want to cry when I think about it.

I am so down, I wasn't even excited about getting my EW magazine and it has New Moon pics in it.

I know, right?

I hope tomorrow will be better.

Supernatural spoilers ahead..
~First of all...I knew it!! I knew Ruby was evil all along! At least we don't have to worry about her any longer...Go Dean and Sam! BTW..Zackariah is kind of a jerk.
Now the waiting begins...4 months until the season premiere! :P

~Today is Pay Day! Pay Day,I love thee.

~Josh and Brianna are going to a sleepover with their cousins tonight. They are both so excited...and so am I! :D

~Tomorrow Adam and I are going to dinner and a movie. We are going to see Star Trek and I'm excited!! Yay for date night!

~School is out in 2 weeks.
The Good - I don't have to rush home to be here when Josh gets out of school.
The Bad - He will be bored after a week.

~I'm trying to get Camden to sleep through the night. When he wakes up,he wants to nurse but I'm going to be weaning him in a few weeks. Last night I nursed him once and then put him back to bed. He started crying but I left him in his bed. Poor little guy cried on and off for an hour before he fell asleep. One small victory..we will see what happens tonight.

I think I look pretty good for my age.

Josh brought home 3 gifts for me from his school. He gave me this pot that he made...

....a plant, and a book about me with some coupons for things like breakfast in bed and kisses and hugs. In the book he wrote that I was "pretty as a flower" and that I was "1000 years old". (hence the name of my post)
This was the conversation with Josh..

Me - "So I'm 1000 years old huh?"

Josh - Well,I couldn't remember how old you are so that is what I wrote."

Jacob (Josh's friend) - "We just had to do an estimation."

How can you argue with that?

I had a nice Mother's Day. Adam and the kids made a yummy breakfast and it was delish! Later that afternoon we went to my mom's house for a potluck dinner. Afterward we went to my MIL's house and the kids played with a few of their cousins.

I hope you all had a nice Mother's Day too.

Random Friday

~I watched Supernatural last night. It was very intense and it made me sad. :( Next week is the season finale and I know there is gonna be a smack down between Dean and Sam. I'm sad that the writers are leaning towards a good vs. evil plot involving the brothers. I hate that they are being driven apart after all that they have been through together. And Castiel letting Sam out of the devil's trap?...GRRRRRRRR! So not cool!

~My SIL's are coming over for dinner tonight and my kids are so excited. Call me psychic but I think I'm going to hear,"When will they be here?" over and over today.

~I'm heading over to the new Wal-Mart today for a few groceries. I'm so happy to have a Wal-Mart less than 10 minutes from my house! Now Smith's isn't the only option around here. :D

~Since I have started my AVON website,I've been contacted by 3 "customers" A.K.A. phishers. They want to order an expensive amount of products from me,not the website. They say they have a personal account with UPS, who will pick up the shipment from me. Oh and can they send me a check in a bigger amount so I can pay the shipping company for them? Riiiiiiiigggghhhhtttt...I almost fell for it. Sometimes people just suck.
